It's in the Mail

I sent my Silhouette Desire proposal off to Melissa Jeglinski in New York this morning.

I almost pulled it out of the envelope last night to change a few things but I stopped myself. Then I began to think that maybe a week before National wasn't the best time to send it. Then I worried that maybe I should have just sent the synopsis like the guidelines on eharlequin state. But, MJ said to send the first three chapters in a Q&A at eharl and in the guidelines in the RWR.

I let fear of rejection stop me from doing a lot of things that could have tremendous rewards.

Finally, I took a deep breath and just sent it.

Go, Anne, go!!! I'm so glad you didn't take it back out of the envelope.

Thanks Julia. Feel a little sick every time I think about it.

Yay!!! I'm so excited for you. You've worked really hard on this submission, so I'm glad you sent it off.

I understand about the feeling sick thing. I felt like that for the first couple of days after I sent my contest submission. Don't worry, it goes away, especially once you get immersed in writing new stuff.

Way to go Anne!! I'm so excited for you! I still get sick everytime I send something off. I'm still second guess one manuscript I sent to my editor.

I'm sure good things will come your way, Anne! :)

YAY!!! And I think you're right on sending the partial. Didn't Paula E say the same thing when she was down about sending partials? Good luck and I'll keep my fingers crossed.
