Day 5 of BIAM

I've written about 2,000 words out of the 5,000 that I should've had by now if I want to complete a book in a month.

I had to resort to writing by hand so I could try and recapture that creative muse. It's worked so well, I don't want to leave it and do other things that absolutely have to be done. Yeah! I haven't felt like that for awhile.

Our RWA chapter session on Sunday was on capturing the muse by Julia Smith, who also has a very creative blog, Piece of My Mind. It got me thinking to how much of my life was "work" related and how little fun I allow myself.

Tonight by youngest daughter and I are attending Neptune Theatre to see their version of High School Musical. I'm really looking forward to it.
Tomorrow my oldest daughter is getting all her wisdom teeth out. Not looking forward to that. But the hospital wait should get me through another one of the books I'm judging for the Daphne.

I want tomorrow to be over with.

Thanks, Anne! It's something every creative woman has to deal with, I think - probably more than men. Women are slowly learning to play again.
