The winners of the Presents Contest were announced on Dec 11th. Since I checked my voice mail and email constantly the day before I knew my name wasn't on the list.
They chose four winners. The two Presents winners are both published authors and that's created quite a lot of bitter posts on the iheartpresents.com blog.
The bottom line for me is I didn't win. They hope to respond to all the rest of the entries by the end of the week. So, here's hoping I get something other than an outright rejection.

I got a straight rejection fromt the Presents contest this afternoon. Nothing to do but move on. It's not the end of the world, after all!
Good to find all these romance writing blogs!
Jane
Thanks for stopping by my blog,Jane. Sorry to hear about the rejection. No, not the end of the world. And it's nice to get the quick feedback so you can move on to another project quickly.
I hope I hear soon or I'm going to wear out my keyboard checking my inbox every few minutes
I think it's nice they're responding to everyone even if it's form rejection. They didn't do that with the first contest. Closure is good, even if it stings. Too much of my stuff vanishes into mist.
Fingers crossed for a full request for you Anne!
Yes, Cat. And I like that this is so fast. I wish all sub's could be like that.
Fingers crossed you hear something positive!
Thanks Kelly.
