Still Waiting

Yes, still waiting for feedback from Presents.

At least it's kept my mind off the full sitting at Desire.

Completed my final assignment for my business class. Received a very good mark. Just relieved it's over and one less thing I have to do.

My mom, sister and youngest daughter went to see The Christmas Carol at Neptune last night. We had dinner beforehand and it was a lovely, mild night to be walking around downtown. Deep freeze is supposed to set in this evening. I'm always amazed at the talent we have in our little corner of the world. The voices and acting were first-rate. And the set design was spectacular.

After weeks of working, course assignments and writing, writing, writing - I'm taking today to relax. Maybe dig the tree out.

Tomorrow the marathon Christmas shopping begins.

Are you setting your 2010 writing goals? Or do you wait until January to do that?

Thanks for stopping by Rachael.

I hope it's good news. I'll just have to be patient a little longer.

Hi Anne!

I saw you over at the eharlequin forums and thought I'd stop by and say hello! We lived on the South Shore of Nova Scotia for eight years. I still miss it, even though Newfoundland has its own charms.

As of this morning (Thursday) I still haven't heard.

Mary Carroll

I don't have a blog, but I do have a live journal account under the name St. Margarets (after beautiful St. Margaret's Bay)I'll check back and see how you're doing.

Hi Anne!
I heard this morning. I didn't get a request for my competition ms, but they had lost of detailed feedback for me - mostly about the conflict. I couldn't believe how long the letter was and how detailed - the editor even quoted a line from the chapter to show me where I was hinting but not showing the internal conflict. So I'm going to use this feedback to write something new.

Hope you got some good news today.

Mary

Hi Mary,

I also received feedback from the editors this morning. Some nice things about the entry and my writing, advice on how to fix it but then a request for three chapters of the NEXT ms.

And I just live minutes away from St. Margaret's Bay.
