Revisions

I phoned the Silhouette office in New York just before Christmas to follow up on the partial I sent in July. I was informed that a letter requesting the full had been sent two weeks previously by MJ. Since I hadn't received it I could take the phone call as my request and send the full to MJ's attention.

I've been waiting for weeks now for the letter to make sure there wasn't some mistake. Haven't received it and it's been well over a month. I've been trying to get the revisions on the rest of it completed as quickly as possible but it's slow and painstaking. Somehow I remembered this story as being better.

I'm now at the half-way mark of my first run through and I'm hoping that I get through the final hundred pages by the end of the week. I'd set January 10th as my goal for the first set of revisions. Hoping to get the whole thing sent off by Jan 18th. Maybe that letter will show up in the mean time but I'm not holding my breath.

On the reading front I just finished Anna Campbell's second historical romance, Untouched. Best book I've read in a long time. I loved it.

Anne congratulations on the request for the full! I have no doubt that letter will make it sooner or later, but I wouldn't wait for it.

Send that puppy in!

I'm loving this story so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. And I agree with Christine. Send it in once it's ready. Who knows when the letter might show up!

I loved both of Anna Campbell's books, but Untouched was my favourite by far. I'm sure it will do as well - if not better - than her first.

I hear ya on revisions. I'm dragging my way through them now too. Ugh. And I can't wait to read Untouched. It is near the top of my TBR pile.
