I've been all over the internet looking for every piece of info and instruction on writing Presents. I've educated myself on alpha males, global voice and universal emotions. I've learned that it's all about character and internal conflicts. I've been warned to not let the plot get in the way of the story, and avoid cliche's and too much backstory in the first chapter. And whatever I do DON"T LOSE SIGHT OF MY OWN VOICE!
Whew.
Now I'm totally paralyzed and can't think of a single word to put on Page 1.
