New Start

"So what do we do? Anything. Something. So long as we just don't sit there. If we screw it up, start over. Try something else. If we wait until we've satisfied all the uncertainties, it may be too late." Lee Iacocca.
I Love Mondays. I've got a plan  (and a list) to make this week productive and joyful. I'm writing a scene this morning that shows my hero's motivation for his single-minded pursuit of his goal and I can't wait to see the heroine's reaction.

I've also decided to revamp my rejected Desire, An Unsuitable Mistress, for Presents and send in the first three chapters and synopsis to the London office. The hero needs to be more alpha. I love him and don't want to changed his personality too much so I need to give him good reasons for his actions.

I have five unpublished contest entries to judge for the Daphne. So far I've read three and they are all good. The published books are on the way so I want to have the unpublished entries returned to the judges this week so I'm free to concentrate on the published books.

Lots to keep me busy this week.

Don't you just love Mondays? I know, most people hate them, but I see them as 'mini New Year's'. A start fresh approach to every week - eat better, exercise, more organized, write more. By Friday, I'm usually way behind in all of those areas, but come Monday - start over! It's kind of refreshing.

Good luck with your busy week - and, yes, I may use your Suzanne Brockmann hybrid quote for Wednesday's post. Thanks, Anne :)

Yes, Janet. I start over a lot. Fresh starts are always energizing.

I always do better with a list, but it can't be too long or I give up before I start.

I did laugh at your Homer Simpson quote a few posts ago, but today's quote is really appreciated. I shall take it to heart, Anne!

Thanks Kelly and Annette.

Cat, I had an anxiety attack when I made the list of house maintenance, yard work, and spring cleaning. Had to put it away.

Love The Simpson's Julia. They're the dark side sitting on my left shoulder.
