Hairspray was fun. I smiled through the entire thing. Considering the underlying theme is racism, it's quite a feet to make it a feel good movie. And the "big" girl got the guy in the end, which always works in my world.I recognized some of the kids from the Disney/Family shows my youngest watches. It's surprising how talented they are. Elijah Kelly, Seaweed in the movie, was fabulous. And Queen Latifa was the bomb!

I love Queen Latifa! I've seen a lot of her movies so I should check this one out. I hear Michelle Pfeiffer is really good in this movie too.
The cute guy from "Highschool Musical", Zack Efron is smart to get into something like this. I can't wait to see it, too!
