WW - Week 1

There's a little less of me this week - I lost 4lbs. I don't usually lose weight fast so I expect the scale won't budge now for a couple of weeks. That's OK. Slow and Steady wins the race.


I went to dinner at my Mom's on Saturday. She always cooks healthy meals and I can skip the dessert, so I didn't think to warn her I was back at WW. She made my favourite dessert just for me. Trifle. Ouch. Didn't have any but enjoyed watching everyone else enjoy it.


This week my goal is to hit the gym four times. My blood pressure is inching up again with the weight gain and lack of exercise. Seriously, what is wrong with me that I let that happen?


I'll post the recipe for my WW recipe I'm trying later on this week and let you know how it turned out.

Congrats! I don't think I've lost a pound despite getting to the gym for 6 days this week. Although I feel great from the regular workouts.

I think you need both diet and exercise for the weight to come off quickly but you'll eventually shed it if you keep it up.

Exercise makes me feel better mentally and physically. I don't know why I stop doing it.
