Blowing in the wind

Hurricane Bill is off the coast and we're feeling the wind and rain. So far, not too bad. Power is out in some parts of the city.

This is a picture of Peggy's Cove from early this morning. It seems that every year someone gets too close and falls in. Apparently police officers are on site today to save people from their own folly and keep them off the rocks.

The trees around my property are flipping back and forth and leaves are flying all over the place. Hope the ones close to the house stay standing.

I was surprised by how little damage there was. Our power didn't even flicker. And by the time the sun came out at supper, I was totally shack whacky!

I know. I could've done all kinds of things yesterday if I wasn't sitting around waiting for disaster to strike.

Although, some people did have flooding so it wasn't much fun for them.
