Monday - the week can only get better

I had one of those days. You know the ones: everything you touch breaks, every conversation is difficult and nothing works out like you planned.

I won't bore you with the whiny details but it started with a visit to the school guidance counselor and ended when the handle on my toilet tank broke - and I only have one bathroom.

On a brighter note I did manage to figure out my hero's internal GMC  which  leads to the reason my hero and heroine can't be together and feeds into the black moment.

You may have noticed my exercise ticker on the right only made it to the 3 hrs when the goals was 6 hrs for the previous two weeks. Not a smashing success considering how much eating I've done over the past couple of weeks. However, I'm back on track. The junk food is out of the house. And I went to the gym this afternoon.  So, I'll be changing the ticker tomorrow ( because I'm too tired and sore to do it this evening.)

Hoping to make a real dent in the word count this week.

Yikes - that sounds like a horrible day (especially the toilet part considering you have only one bathroom).

But, I'm glad you found your hero's internal conflict - and that it feeds into the black moment is even better. Good job, Anne.

And good for you for getting back to the gym. It's so easy to continue to slide - a lot harder to get back into a healthy routine after a lapse.

Good luck on the word count :)

Bummer about your day. Yeah about your hero's IC.

They've set up a round around our building at work that allows us to walk 1/2 a mile to encourage us to exercise. Yeah right. As if I ever leave my desk.

Good luck on your word count and your workout.

Thanks Janet and Cat. Writing all day today. Hoping for lots of words.

And the toilet's fixed! Yeah.

When I saw the picture of the toilet, I laughed. But in sympathy, Anne. Truly.

Keepin' my fingers crossed for you Anne on all accounts! Glad you figured out your hero though - huge for your writing. Everything else is copy. (Just chant it when you feel like pulling out your hair).

Way to go on getting to the gym, and on the bright side - they have plenty of bathrooms there with working toilets!
